Round Detail View

What the round details popup shows, how to read the health bar, and where to find the jobs attached to the round.

Work Planner Team12 April 2026

Click any round on the list to open its details popup. This is the quickest place to judge whether the round is healthy, how much work is sitting in it, and which jobs belong there.

The top bar shows the round's name, with Active or Archived, and under it the business when you work across more than one, and how many jobs it has. Its Details and Jobs tabs run along the top, each an icon over its name.

The Details Tab

The details tab opens first and keeps the round stats visible across the top. Those headline figures are there so you can decide quickly whether the round needs attention before digging into the jobs themselves.

  • Balance: The running balance connected to the jobs inside the round.
  • Value: The combined live value of those jobs.
  • Job Count: How many jobs the round has, leaving out cancelled ones, as the Rounds list counts them.
  • Health Report: The overdue percentage for active jobs in the round.

Value is one visit to each of the round's active jobs, at the price it's on now, with any VAT. For what the round's repeating work is worth a month and a year, or in each of the next 12 months, see By round on the Round Value Report.

Round Details Section

  • Name: The saved round name.
  • Business: Shown when your account can view more than one business, so you know exactly where the round belongs.
  • Status: Tells you whether the round is active or archived.
  • Color: The exact saved round colour.
  • Dates: Created and updated dates help you spot whether the round is brand new or recently changed.

The Jobs Tab

Switch to Jobs when you want to work through the jobs attached to the round. The jobs table inside the popup gives you the same kind of operational view you would expect elsewhere, but already filtered down to that round.

Actions

Down the right of the Details tab, or under the tabs when the popup is too narrow for them down the side, are the round's actions. On a phone, Edit is at the top right.

  • Reorder jobs: Shows once the round has jobs. It opens the same reorder popup as Reorder jobs on the Rounds list, for when the issue is the order of stops rather than the details shown here.
  • Edit round: Use this when the round itself needs changing. It uses your own word for a round, such as Edit route.
  • Delete round: In red at the foot. It asks the same question as the bin on the Rounds list, and closes the popup once the round has gone.

If your role doesn't include View Prices and Balances, the round's balance and value are left out. See Editing a Role.

Pinning

The pin at the top of the popup, beside the help button, adds this round to the Pinned menu at the end of the main menu, so you can open it again from any page. Click it again to unpin it. See Pinned Records.

  • Rounds List: Covers how you get into this popup and what the list itself tells you.
  • Editing a Round: Use this when the details shown here need updating.
  • Reordering Jobs in a Round: Covers changing the stored stop order inside the round.
  • Round Value Report: What each round's repeating work is worth a month and a year, and in each of the next 12 months.
