Completed Jobs Report
How the completed jobs report lists every job your team completed in a period, with the work done, and adds them up by round, team member, source, service, vehicle or customer, for the whole period or month by month, with the skip rate, the totals and the payments each team member collected.
The completed jobs report, in Reports > Work > Completed jobs, lists every job your team completed in a period: the date, the customer, the job, its round, the team member it was down to, and the work done. It counts jobs the same way the Planner does.
Its other tabs add the jobs up by round, team member, source, service, vehicle or customer: how many were done and missed, the skip rate and the work done, with the totals at the bottom. Each can show the whole period at once, or each month side by side.
It shows the work already done: for what your active jobs will bring in, a month, a year or each of the next 12 months, see the Round Value Report.
Filters
The filters work as they do on the jobs list, and apply to every tab. On a computer, the search sits beside the Filters button, the funnel, which slides the rest out from the right. Each changes the report as soon as you choose it, and the button at their foot, such as Show 120 jobs, closes them.
- Search: beside the Filters button. Finds jobs by customer name, company, customer or job reference, or the job's service.
- Date range: starts as your financial year so far (This Tax Year for most businesses). The choices are This Month, Last Month, This Quarter, This Tax Year and Last Tax Year, the same on every money page, or pick any dates on the calendar.
- Business, Round, Team member, Service, Source and Vehicle: the business (the report covers one at a time), and any rounds, team members, services, customer sources or vehicles. Not recorded under team members finds jobs nobody was recorded against, and No vehicle under vehicles finds jobs done without one.
- Chips: at the left of the search, the period always has a chip, such as Period: This Tax Year, and so does the business when you have more than one. Each other filter you set adds its own, such as Round: Monday or Rounds: Monday +2. A chip's × takes that filter off. The period's and the business's have one once you've changed them, which puts them back as they started.
- Clear all: shows at the foot of the filters once you've changed something, and puts everything but the search back as it started.
Tabs
- Jobs: each job completed, newest first, with its date, customer, job, round, team member, vehicle and the work done.
- By round, By source and By service: the jobs added up for each round, customer source or service: how many were done and missed, the skip rate, and the work done, the most done first.
- By vehicle: the jobs added up for each vehicle in the same way, with No vehicle for the jobs done without one. Sold vehicles stay in, as their jobs do. This tab, the vehicles filter and the Vehicle column on Jobs only appear once your business has a vehicle.
- By team member: for each team member, how many jobs they completed and missed, their skip rate, how many days they worked, the work they did, what that came to on average a day they worked, and the payments they collected.
- By customer: the jobs added up for each customer in the same way, the customers you did the most jobs for first. Each customer is shown as on the Jobs tab, by their company name if they have one, or else by their name, with their customer reference after it, such as Jo Bloggs (C-1), so two customers with the same name can be told apart.
The Total line at the bottom of each of these tabs adds up every row: the jobs, the missed visits, the skip rate across them all, and the work done. On By team member it also has the days anyone worked, counting each day once however many of the team worked it, what that came to a day, and all the payments collected.
Money is in green: the work done, what it came to a day and the payments collected. Counts, such as the jobs done and missed, aren't coloured. The money is in green in the PDF from Print too.
Click a column heading on any tab to sort by it, click it again to sort the other way, and a third time to put the rows back as they were, newest first on Jobs. Names go A to Z first, and numbers and money biggest first. A blank, such as a job with no round, goes last either way. On Jobs the sort covers every page, and Export CSV comes in the same order.
Skip Rate
Skip % is how many of the visits due were missed, as a percentage to one decimal place: the missed visits divided by the jobs done and missed together. A round with 3 jobs done and 1 missed has a skip rate of 25.0%. As it's a share rather than a count, a busy round and a quiet one can be compared side by side. A dash means nothing was due, such as for a team member who only collected payments in the period.
Totals or By Month
Above the table on every tab except Jobs, choose how to lay it out:
- Totals: a line for each round, team member, customer or whatever the tab adds up by, with its figures for the whole period. The report starts on this.
- By month: a column for each month of the period, such as Jan 2026, then Total, Missed and Skip % for the whole period. The Total line at the bottom adds up each month.
With By month, a second choice sets what the months show: Jobs, how many jobs were done that month, or Work done, what was charged for them, before VAT for a VAT-registered business. Missed visits aren't in the months: they're counted for the whole period, under Missed. Work done isn't offered to people whose role hides prices. Both choices stay as they are when you move between the tabs.
A month the period only partly covers counts only the days in the period, and its heading says which, such as 6–30 Apr 2025. For most businesses Last Tax Year runs from 6 April to 5 April, so it starts with an April column for 6 to 30 April and ends with another for 1 to 5 April.
What Counts as Completed
- When it counts: a job counts once it's marked done from the job or the Planner, or once its worksheet is submitted, on the date it was done. A job ticked on a worksheet that hasn't been submitted yet isn't included.
- Missed visits: aren't included in the jobs or the work done. The tabs that add the jobs up count them under Missed, and in the skip rate.
- Cancelled charges and opening balances: aren't included either, by the money rules every report and the Dashboard share, so the jobs add up to the work done on the other reports.
- Work done: what was charged for the job, before VAT for a VAT-registered business, with what it came to with VAT underneath. A business that isn't VAT registered sees whole amounts.
- Team member: the person the worksheet was assigned to, or whoever marked the job done. If the worksheet had nobody assigned, it's whoever submitted it. Jobs completed before the report existed show the worksheet's team member where there was one, and Not recorded otherwise.
- Days worked: the days a team member completed at least one job.
- Payments collected: payments taken on a worksheet, when marking a job done, or by card in person, by the team member who took them. Payments recorded in the office, paid online or by Direct Debit aren't anyone's, so they aren't included. After it comes a column for each way they were paid, such as Cash or Card, so you can check the cash each person hands in; Not recorded is for payments with no payment method. Printing and Export CSV have those columns too.
- Round: the round the job is on now.
- Vehicle: the van the job was done in, saved when it was done. A job done from a worksheet goes with the worksheet's van. One marked done from the job or the Planner goes with the van of the unfinished worksheet it's on, or else the van the person who marked it done drives. If a worksheet's van is changed later, its jobs move with it. Jobs done before your business had vehicles show as No vehicle.
Printing and Exporting
- Print: on every tab except Jobs, opens the table as a PDF to print or save, with your business name, the period and the Total line. By month prints across the page, and so does By team member when it shows the work done, to fit its columns. A tax year fits in one table, with the part months at either end. A longer period prints twelve months at a time: it carries on in another table underneath, which ends with the Total, Missed and Skip % columns. With Work done, the months are rounded to the nearest pound or euro, so a year fits across the page. A long list, such as By customer for a busy business, prints the 500 rows with the most jobs and says how many more there are: the Total line still counts them all, and Export CSV has every one.
- Export CSV: at the top of each tab, downloads what that tab shows as a CSV, for the date range and filters you've chosen. On Jobs it has every job the filters match, not just the page on screen, with the customer and job references, round, team member, vehicle (once your business has one), and the net, VAT and total charged. On the other tabs it has a line for each row, with its Skip %, and a Total line at the end. With By month it has a column for each month, with the jobs or the work done as you've chosen, and its file name says by-month, or work-done-by-month when the months show the work done.
Who Can See It
Anyone whose role can see reports. People whose role hides prices see the jobs without the work done, on screen and in what they print or export, and By month only counts the jobs for them. Printing and exporting need Export Reports and Lists under Reports on the role, as owners, admins and the ready-made Accountant role have: Print and Export CSV only show if yours does. See Editing a Role. They aren't in the iPhone and Android apps, which can't save a download: print or export from Work Planner in a web browser.
